About Me

I’m a mom of three living in Hudson Valley New York. I grew up in Alaska where seasonal living and resourcefulness are key. I’m a former teacher and my work with families struggling for balance motivated me to start Mama Tried. I also spent time working in the food industry and while I don’t cook professionally anymore I’m passionate about food and love to feed my family and whoever lands at our table.
